whats a domain in math?
if you are asking what is the domain of a function, it is the set of all possible inputs for that function
all x values
Domain is also the x values Range is another word used and that is all of the y values
Thank you guys!
anytime :)
Ok so we are need bad help on a math question! Which of the following does NOT represent a domain? the total number of oranges Andre has from buying bags of oranges at the store the number of minutes that have passed while reading pages from a book how many sandwiches are made that require a certain amount of peanut butter the number of toys sold during the holidays that result in a certain number of batteries needed
The domain will be all of the possible "X" values of a specific equation
that is the whole question so does anyone know what the answer is?
The first one is incorrect
Exactly 1 range corresponds to one domain
Beware of restrictions ... f(x) = 1/(x-2) ... in this case x can't be two therefore is excluded from the domain
ok:) Ket-Kat I have know idea what that means!?!?!?! I am so sorry! But do u know what the answer is? Sorry I am sooooo not good at math:)
It's all good.
Here's an example: Domain :[3,5,6,7] - Range [8,9,10,11] is a function Domain: [3,5,6,7] ]Range: [8,8,10,11] Is not a function because the range should only correspond to "1" domain :) 1 range for 1 domain only
OHHHH!!! Thank you soooooooo much!
:D Do you understand?
yes thank you:)
No problem. Look me up if you ever have any more questions ;) Good day
So I am doing something like this: first month $47 third $141five $235<--- is an example:) AND THANK YOU SO MUCH KET-KAT!!
Anyone??? PLEASE!?!?!?!
oh i never finished the question haha umm what will it be on the 12th month
