OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

find the bifurcation values for dy/dt=1-a*y where a is some parameter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lgbasallote pls...help him!

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

what's bifurcation?

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

and, I have a better card. @FoolForMath

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"A bifurcation value is the parameter value at which the stability of an equilibrium point changes." I just read this somewhere and decided to share this but I don't know how to do the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This might also help you -> http://math.bu.edu/DYSYS/ode-bif/node5.html#SECTION00050000000000000000

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

yes this one is weird because the bifurcation value itself does not lend to any equilibrium solutions. I cant find any other examples where the dif eq is linear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then only genius @FoolForMath can guide you :D

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

that would rule:)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

im going to sleep but if anyone has any input ill check as soon as i wake up, ty all

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

last bump and then I'll close it.
