Refer here and try by yourself http://www.wikihow.com/Solve-Quadratic-Inequalities :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

K thanks. Would you be ale to explain to me what exactly a cut point is?

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

What level of math is this? I tried searching for "cut points" and its way beyond me...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PreCalculus. Yea, it's difficult. I think I figure it out though, thanks!

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Hmm.. can you explain? I'm honestly curious about this. The explanations I'm seeing are Topology-level stuff. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First find the factors of the polynomial x^3+3x^2-4x-12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha weird. This is what basically helped me out. http://www.ltcconline.net/greenl/courses/154/factor/quadineq.htm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shivam_bhalla is the answer 2? That's what I got

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

Ohhh, yes. That would make sense then. "Cut-point" is a new term for it to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A cubic polynomial always has 3 roots. Use synthetic division to find them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

K. Thanks guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks like you got it :D
