Geometry help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just post it!

OpenStudy (faman39):

my instructor told this when i submitted that file.

OpenStudy (faman39):

actually i did exactly which was written in the lesson

OpenStudy (faman39):

But what she really meant that i couldnt figured out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do the numbers inside of the shape mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look like the length?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you send your lesson so I can get the idea?

OpenStudy (faman39):

sure! one sec

OpenStudy (faman39):

Step 1. Sketch a map of your room. Include the shape of the room, location of walls, windows, doorways, and closets. You may want to include some furniture, too! You must include at least items. Be sure to measure width and length of all the items you measure. Step 2. Measure the length and width of the room and the other items that you included in your sketch. Don’t forget to measure the distances from the wall to each side of the windows, doorways, closets, and other items. What tool should you use? A ruler? A tape measure? Round to the nearest inch. Record your measurements on your first sketch. *Hint: You don’t need to measure the height because maps and scale drawings are flat. Step 3. Make the scale drawing. Use the scale factor of . Find the scale measurement of each item in your sketch and record it. You must include all of the items you measured and drew on the original map of your room. Check to see that all of your calculations are correct. You will submit this work as part of the project. Use a pencil, graph paper, and a ruler to make your scale drawing. An example of a scale drawing of a classroom is shown below.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it :)

OpenStudy (faman39):

thank you !!!!!!!!!!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From the sample the room dimension 20 x 20 ( wall 20 ft)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So all the door, windows, closet must be ratio proportionally!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She needs 10 items, so we should add desk, bed, table, cabinet, chair,..

OpenStudy (faman39):

ya i got that but i didnt get other what i have to

OpenStudy (faman39):

what was my mistake on map

OpenStudy (faman39):

? :( that made me confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How come the wall just 8 ft?

OpenStudy (faman39):

i guess that, sorry!

OpenStudy (faman39):

it was mistake too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

while the closet already 16ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We might at first plant the furniture in, add it up, then add some more feet for the wall!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One room has one closet, 1 bed, 1 desk

OpenStudy (faman39):

ok but, my room has two closet n wardrobe

OpenStudy (faman39):

thats y i put two :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For real :0

OpenStudy (faman39):

ya n its really cozy

OpenStudy (faman39):

i dont even know, how long n wide r those thing

OpenStudy (faman39):

thats y, um stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, you should practice to measure them now ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Get your tools, gentleman !

OpenStudy (faman39):

ok, can we do by single as u said one desk, closet, table

OpenStudy (faman39):

that be fine too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It makes more sense for variety furniture :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you get something to measure yet? Imagine we plan to design your room :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is your bed queen size? Let me measure mine :)

OpenStudy (faman39):

yes

OpenStudy (faman39):

let me, what else i have

OpenStudy (faman39):

let me tell u those

OpenStudy (faman39):

two three drawer desk

OpenStudy (faman39):

OpenStudy (faman39):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.2 x 6 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about bookcase?

OpenStudy (faman39):

one large window n two chair

OpenStudy (faman39):

nope i dont have that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you measured yet?

OpenStudy (faman39):

OpenStudy (faman39):

thats y, um in trouble with this project

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If so, let me research online

OpenStudy (faman39):

ok thank u! n um so sorry for giving u this trouble! :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):
