Current vacuum technology can achieve a pressure of 1.0 x 10^-10 mm of Hg. At this pressure, and at a temperature of 40.0 degrees C, how many molecules are in 1.00 cm^3?

Find the number of moles from the ideal gas law. Multiply that by Avagadro's number to find the number of molecules. We can use 62.36367 as the gas constant in the ideal gas equation. It has units of\[\rm L \cdot mmHg \over mol \cdot K\]Remember that there are 1000 \(cm^3\) in one liter.
