no... The full sentance is - A cell is a highly organized compartment that is bounded by a thin, flexible structure called plasma membrane and that contains concentrated chemicals in an aqueous solution

Oh - I see what you're asking now. Essentially the cell consists of the outer membrane, inner structures known as organelles, and the cytosol - the cytosol is the aqueous solution with the various chemicals mixed within. The cytosol is referred to as an aqueous solution simply because 70% of it is water. The various chemicals mixed inside include ions such as sodium and potassium...a more complete list can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytosol#Ions These ions and other chemicals function in a wide variety of roles...but essentially, they maintain homeostasis (stable internal conditions) for the cell.
