can anyone explain to me (in own words) what the wallis' formula is? :D
Just as there are infinite summations, taylor series, maclaurimn series and the like power series; there are infinite products as well; it appears that the wallis formula is an infinite product series that relates to sine
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/WallisFormula.html for a rather convoluted reading lol
that link again o.O it always appears whenever i ask this lol
i guess no one knows without linking :(
well, wolfram is spose to be good on the technical stuff, but i tend to get lost in it do you recall what an infinite product is? a good example is something like a factorial
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cDM-xNQK18 dunno how good this is, but it mmight be useful
heh no forgot factorial too :p well i know how it goes but i dunno how to use it...well one question though what does the 3/4 rectangle mean?
|dw:1335935590497:dw| that thing
thats a capital PI; P for product .... instead of summing it all up your multiplying it all up
ohhh i guess ill just do this the hard way by self-studying -__-
thanks though :)
self studying is always the best lol
whats that lgba.please tell me .
i dont know lol..that's what ive been trying to find out :p
