AoPS? Both are false. I think that the cosine would be the opposite. For example, cosin(x-3pi)=-cosin(x). My reasoning is that both ultimately end in a change of 180 degrees, which opposites the x coordinate (the cosine corresponds with the x). I agree that both should be (x-2pi). This would be an ultimate change of 0 degrees.
