Helen is drawing a geometric figure. She first constructs two diagonals that bisect each other but are not congruent. What else does Helen need to know about the diagonals to determine whether the quadrilateral will be a rhombus or a parallelogram? Explain your answer using complete sentences
Whether they are parallel and bisect at 90 degrees.
what else i dont really know this and thank u sooo much
Well @Directrix is here hes like really smart lol he should be able to help.
The figure is already a parallelogram by virtue of the given. To be a rhombus, the diagonals would have to be perpendicular. If the diagonals are not perpendicular, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram. Recall the theorem that if the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram.
Helen needs to know if the diagonals are perpendicular.
wow u r a smarttttttt
