Just a note, when u differentiate
write dy/dx or y' = ...

in the end its 8x - 6
at the end of the equation we get something like
9x^2 - 8x + 8 - 6

so why do we leave the -6 out completely?

because 6 is a constant and the derivative of a constant is always 0
