@Numbers -- quick question: What do you understand the phrase "inverse operation" to mean? It's ok if the phrase makes no sense, you can say so. :-p But before you can USE them it helps to see how/if you understand them. :)

@.Sam. Dividing both sides (by a nonzero number) is an **example** of a specific inverse operation -- division is the inverse operation to multiplication. But "divide both sides" is not itself the definition of "inverse operation".
