in the Pythagorean theroem, I have a Kaplan university study guide for a civil service test.. of course its a^2+b^2=c^2 It gives you the triangle side lengths of 2^2+3^2=c^2 so you get 4+9=c^2 or 13=c^2 Wouldn't the correct answer then be The square root of 13? Because its telling me the answer is the sq. rt. of 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe they made a typo LOLS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the sq rt of 13 is 3.6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea they would still be wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because 3.6 would be rounded to 4 or it would stay and 3.6
