what is the range of the data set? x:4, 5,5,5, 6, 6, 7. y:1, 3, 1, 4, 5, 4, 8
Range is the difference between the largest number and smallest number
I know what range is I just don't know how to find it in this graph
do i find the range of the two sides?
Actually there are two ways you can understand this question. If you mean range as in "domain and range" then range refers to the entire y values. But if you mean range as I described before, then you need to subtract the smallest number from the largest from either the entire two variables as one group, or find the range in x and then do the same for y. But I don't know which one because I don't know what your exact topic of study is
I think it is the first one
because the answers on my worksheet for other questions like this the answers had 4 numbers..
That makes sense your numbers that are different from one another in y meaning they are not repeating, then your range would be 1,3,4,5,8
ok. thanks :)
