Help Me PLEASE! Simplify the expression: √(27x^5) + x√(3) + 9√(3x) If the simplified expression is written in standard form, what is the leading coefficient?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the simplified form is 3x^2√3x + x√3 + 9√3x but i dont get which is the leading coefficient

OpenStudy (anonymous):

firstly i am pretty sure you already know this but a property that we need to consider is that √(ab) = √a*√b so now from your question √(27x^5) + x√(3) + 9√(3x) we get √27*√x^5 + x√3 + 9√3*√x and that is just equal to 3*x^2*√x +x√3 + 9√3*√x = (3x^2 +9√3)√x +x√3

so would 9 be the leading coefficient right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

Oh ok thank you!!
