4x-3y=18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you looking for slope-intercept form? -3y = 4x + 18 /-3 y = 4/3x - 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says to solve graphically, and if it has infinite solutions notate with set builders

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So they ask how you plot it on a graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no just solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solutions are where two lines intersect and there's only one line:/ Try bumping the question cuz Im confused with what you need to find.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me to. the instructions aren't clear at all. thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you write exactly what they ask? Maybe it'll help:) If its the same line I know there are an infinite number of solutions but theres only one equation...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve each sytem graphically. be sure to check your solution. if a sytem has an infinite # of solutions use set builder notations to write the solution set. if a system has no solution then state it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And the only equation it shows is 4x - 3y = 18???? There isn't any other equation there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-1/3x-1. i solved that one i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -1/3x - 1 4x - 3y = 18 in slope intercept is y = 4/3x - 6 When you graph those two equations you get 1 solution(they intersect once).They intersect at point (3, -2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome:D
