Peter earned a wage increase of 15% . If he was previously making $9 per hour, how much more is Peter making per hour now?
Trolling? :P
what
It's quite easy, i can't believe you are talking seriously..
plz answer im tiried and i need to know it
x-x*15% :P
x*15% my bad..
how can it be that if 15% is the increase
peter had x, now he has x+x*15%, and the increase is x*15%
that doesnt sound right but whatever
it is right 9*15/100 is the increase, this equals to 1.35$ and 1.35/9=15/100.. and his wage per hour is 9+1.35, it's not hard.. it's everyday math..
@infinity_ hey, do u mean like, find the 15% of 9 and then add up to the $9 ?
IM confused
if you want to find his wage yes.. if you just want to find the increase you just do 9*15%
ohhh I get it, so @bettyboo2b take the 15% of $9 and times it by nine. get it ?
but that comes too 1.35
not 15%
it's a matter of arithmetics, not even algebra.I give up @Rubie good luck..
thanks for helping
I repeat for the last time, 15% is just a rate of change, you multiply it by nine to find the increase..
ok betty, :) explain to me how u can find 15% ? and I'll try my best to help you.
well i did these
