Simplify ((6x-5)^3(2)(x^2+4)(2x))+((x^2+4)^2(3)(6x-5)^2(6))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(6x-5)^3(2)(x^2+4)(2x)+(x^2+4)^2(3)(6x-5)^2(6))\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got \[7200-19280 x+21168 x^2-17780 x^3+10890 x^4-3240 x^5+1512 x^6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand how to expand it but not how to simplify it

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

I think that is all you can do. You could take a 2 out of all the integers but that doesn't really simplify it at all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2x(x^2+4)(6x-5)\left[ (6x-5)^2+9(x^2+4) \right]\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, the final answer should be \[2 (5-6x)^2 (4+x^2) (36+x (-10+21x))\] but I don't know how they get it...

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

Wow. I have no idea how to get to there. It would take me quite a while to get that. I got that first 2....but the rest. Whew!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How'd you get your answer?

OpenStudy (pfenn1):

@xXDWEAHXx87, @purplec16 would love to know how you got your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @xXDWEAHXx87 I would really love to know...
