What is the experimental probability of choosing a black striped tie, followed by a solid yellow tie, if the first tie is replaced? Blue Plaid 1 Red Plaid 2 Solid Black 4 Solid Red 3 Solid Blue 2 Solid Yellow 1 Red Striped 3 Black Striped 4 Brown Striped 2 Green Striped 3 * i think it could be 1/150 i dont know how to really solve these but i added them all up and multiplied by 10

Parth (parthkohli):

First, count the total number of ties: 25 Number of black striped ties: 4 Number of solid yellow ties:1 \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow {4 \over 25} * {1 \over 25} }\) \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow {4 \over 625} }\)

no need to differentiate thank u

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

P(choosing black striped tie) * P(choosing solid tie) = (4/125) * (1/125)

OpenStudy (apoorvk):
