@Gautam.R i did ur method, but my answer is wrong. in this question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 1A , according to my method

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Gautam.R u there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is wrong with my answer? the marking scheme says its 0.5A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1A is for the total circuit. But the current splits into two i.e 0.5A and 0.5A. As the resistance is same and are in parallel the current divides itself into two as 0.5A. Got it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait bro, how can it be 0.5, its already divided right...the sum of current in branches equal to the current flowing in a series|dw:1337620451688:dw|
