i think you'll have to find areas of the give figures

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, that's what I was thinking too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area of cylinder =2 pi r^ 2 + 2 pi r h Area of a Cube = 6 a ^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rest you can do or should i show the work ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the A stand for in the cube formula? Can't be area if that's what I'm trying to find

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A= length of one side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you could show me the work that'd be lovely 0:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i'll np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well can it be any side? or do I do every side? **Area is not my thing lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry its cuboid its area is A = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah ok, that makes more sense lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 118,128 Something tells me that's not right lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cuboid = 248 in^2 cylinder= 207 in^2 so cuboid will contain more icecream

OpenStudy (anonymous):

May I ask how you got that? Because I was obviously way off..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah sure area of cuboid = 2(4)(10)+2(10)(6)+2(6)(4) =248

OpenStudy (anonymous):

area of cylinder =2*pi*3^2 + 2*pi*3*8 value of pi is 3.1415 =207

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I seriously don't know how I messed up on the cuboid.. I must have punched something wrong in my calculator??? Thank you though! Soo much help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awww it was nothing i m always there when people needs help :P cauz my mom says help is a good deed :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well def a good way to look at things :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah ... :)
