Think of it like a right triangle, where we want to find that hypotenuse (the distance between the points) using Pythagorean Theorem. Basically, this is where the formula for distance comes from.
im not sure how to write it in radical form though?
Radical form is just like this: |dw:1338147839970:dw| Only, you'd simplify under the radical when you have actual numerical values.
