How do I graph (x - 0)² + ( y - 0)² = 10² if the cordinates origin is (0, 0)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks like a circle around the origin with a radius of 10 to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is! But I don't know how to graph it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just know the equation lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean? It's a circle, just draw a circle :P You know the x and y-intercepts, then just draw a circle through those.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could use a compass if you want it to be a perfect circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Doesn't it have to be a certain size?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Radius ten, yeah. So it will go through (0,10), (10, 0), (0, -10), (-10,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhhh, okay. Thank you so much. Would you mind looking at a picture my graphed circle and tell me if it's correct or not? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks again!
