How do I teach myself physics?
http://www.staff.science.uu.nl/~hooft101/theorist.html is a popular collection of free physics materials. You could literally learn all of undergraduate's physics from it alone. That said, it's sometimes a bit obscure and/or difficult in the more advanced sections. I can't follow sometimes. http://physics.stackexchange.com/ and, of course, this very website OpenStudy, are good places to ask questions.
love physics!! then u can study it !
jumping on the bed always worked for me
Best answer, without a doubt.
:)
I don't get you, @amistre64 :O I totally support Aravind's advice. First realize what physics is about, how it describes the unnoticed, taken-for-granted things that happen around you everywhere, everytime. I will tell you, Physics is a beautiful subject. Don't just learn physics, feel it. Albert Einstein once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge". Learn a new concept, look around yourself, and ask " Where is this concept in the real world?". Keep asking "Why" while learning. If you want sources, Walter Lewin's lectures are, as per me, the best
This is also an important point. A lot of my peers in physics in college take it because they want to seem smart. They don't enjoy the physics itself. The kind of person who enjoys physics is the kind of person who sees anything happen and goes, "Let's try to model this." Not the kind of person who says, "Physics seems like a good challenge."
dont waste time in physics for considering
thank you all for the help! I really appreciate it, i will try my best to FEEL physics, its truly a beautiful subject!
