I found this for you. I figured you were probably studying this eagles and this might be very helpful for any other questions pertaing to them. http://www.avianweb.com/philippineeagles.html

Philippine eagle will use its powerful talons and sharp beaks. Most Philippine eagles will take flight to escape their predator. The Philippine eagle has no fight over its food. They are very skilled hunters and you can say that they are almost invincible when it come to hunting. Deforestation has caused them to go into extinction though. You will find that they live in four Philippine islands, while having the natural forest as their home. They will use juveniles play has been observed while they are gripping knotholes in trees with their talons, practicing their tails and wings for balance, so that they can insert their heads into tree captivities, This will be excellent for escaping their predator if they have any. They will even attack inanimate objects for practice and as well as hanging upside down, so they work on their balance. They will use their powerful legs, to eat their prey. These will mainly be animals in trees such as the flying lemurs, civets, flying squirrels, squirrels, monkeys, other birds, or even snakes. Now their wingspan is almost two meters, their body length is 86-102cm, and they can weigh up to 4.7-8kg. With their huge body size, they are capable of flying through narrow tree spaces. This will allow them to be excellent hunter, while they can also escape danger from other predators. Now large carnivorous mammals do not live in the Philippines. This will put the Philippine at the very top of the food chain. They were once call the "Monkey-Eating Eagles" because they would hunt any animal, including the many monkeys. The Philippine eagle will sometimes hunt monkey cooperatively, with one of the birds perched on a branch, so that they can distract the primate, while the other soars in and unnoticed for the kill. But this is inaccurate that they will only feed on monkeys. This Philippine eagle will prey on various prey from island to island, as the available species will vary. This will be especially between Luzon and Mindanao. It is believed that the Philippine lemurs are absent in Luzon, which are mainly preferred by the Mindanao, to prey on. It estimated that the lemurs will make up 90% of their diet in some locations. Although they prefer flying lemurs and the Asian Palm civet, they will also prey on other small animals, such as reptiles and birds, including snakes, monitor lizards, hornbills, owls, and they may even prey on other birds or its prey. They have once been reported to have eaten pigs or even small dogs. Due to the brink of extinction, the Philippine eagle will have to secure enough food they will have to command large territories. Poaching continues and years of hunting has caused them to suffer. Although there are many problems, they were designated in 1995 as the national bird of the Philippines. Many people are fond of this eagle now. There has been surveys and even artificial breeding efforts in order to keep breeding these eagle, so that they are still alive in the Philippines. It will be estimated that they live approximately 30-60 years for the wild eagles. It is believed that captive birds have long life spans than the wild eagles. The breeding cycle of a Philippine eagle will last for two years. The female will not sexually mature until she is fiver years of age and the male is seven. Like most of the eagles, the Philippine is monogamous. Once they are paired, they remain to one another for the rest of their lives. If the they lose one anther, due to death, they will find a new mate to replace the one they lost. The beginning of the courtship is signaled by nest-building and the eagle that will remain near the nest. Ariel display play a big part in courtship. The pair will usually soar over their nesting territory, the male will chase the female in a diagonal dive, and mutual talons will be presented, where the male will present his talon's to the female's back and she will flip in mid-air to present her own. There has also been advertisement displays, where the coupled will be calling loudly. Now the willingness to breed for these eagles is displayed as the eagle will bring nesting materials to the bird's nest. Copulation will follow and will occur repeatedly, by both the nest and a nearby perches. Breeding will begin around September and February, but this will differ on different islands. This will mostly be in Mindanao or Luzon, that will begin breeding at different times. The rainfall or predators are mostly known for disturbing their breeding season. The nest is normally built on an emergent dipterocarp, or even by a tall open crowned tree. The nest will be made out of sticks and it will resemble a huge platform. They will frequently use the same nest over and over again for several different chicks. Before eight to tens days that the egg is ready to be laid, the female will be effected by egg lethargy. During this experience, the female will not eat, she will drink lot of water, and she will have her wings hanging droopingly. She will lay one egg late in the afternoon or at dusk. If an egg fails to hatch for her, or if the chick dies, she will likely lay another egg the following year. The copulation may last a few days after the egg is laid to enable another egg to be laid if the first ones fails. The egg will be incubated 58-68 days before she will lay it. Both sexes will participate in the incubation. The female will do the majority of the incubation during the day or at least a night. Both sexes are know to help feed the hatched eagle. The parents will even take turn shielding their young, from the sun or the rain until it is seven weeks old. The young eagle will fledges about after four or five months. The juvenile will observe making a kill 304 day after it is hatched. The eagles parent will provide for it for a total of twenty months. Hope that helps! n_n
