a. -1/9, 1 b. 0,1 c. -1/9, -1 d. 0, -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i know the answeer i am not sure...is it C

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

well, if you send that '-9' over to the RHS, it disappears right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait wait wait is it B

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

okay so now, you're left with: n(5n-5) = 0. Now this multiple of two terms can '0' when either of the terms or zero. so, n=0, or, 5n-5 =0 so one of the solutions is n=0, the other can be found out by solving "5n-5=0". can you do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats what i did and i think the answer is b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n = 1 n =1

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Yup, B it is! (I missed out your reply earlier sorry)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o lol thanks medal given
