First make a table: \(\begin{matrix} f(x) & x \\ 1&3 \\ 2 &9 \end{matrix}\) Etc. and then just plot a parabola

Not a parabola, parth. Parabola is an even function, exponential functions are not.

Domain is the input, range is the output. Though my nathan would be the best if you want to go into the detail :P

The range of exponential functions is \(\{y:y>0\}\). Domain should be the whole real line.

Well actually I have to clarify that answer. If you're talking about the exponential function, \(e^x\), my answer is correct. If you're talking about the whole family of exponential functions it might not be correct, there are some weird cases possible I think. Not entirely sure.

Exponential functions are functions in which the variable is in the exponent. They generally have the appearance of a horizontal line that starts to slowly curve upwards to the point it's almost a vertical line.
