OpenStudy (katielong):

how do you find the last digits of a perpendicular line equation... eg. find a perpendicular line to y=1/2x+4 The answer is y=-2x+24 but how do you know its '+24' ? thanks =)

OpenStudy (zepp):

The 24 doesn't really matter.

OpenStudy (zepp):

The most important value is the slope :)

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

any equation of the form:\[y=-2x+c\]would be perpendicular to:\[y=\frac{x}{2}+4\]

OpenStudy (katielong):

so could it end in say +3 or +9? ahh okayy thanks everyonee =)
