I need some serious help!! What is a simpler form of the following expression? https://www.connexus.com/content/media/464825-472011-101801-AM-406215448/res00000/ppg/examview/S_ALG1B_07_02_Semester_B_Exam/mc022-1.jpg

\[\frac{-10x^3+30x-20}{-5x+5}=\frac{-10(x^3-3x+2)}{-5(x-1)}=\frac{2(x^3-3x+2)}{x-1}\]

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If that were x^2 instead of x^3 or 20x instead of just 20, it would reduce further. Are you sure you copied it correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's correct.... It's a x^3 and just a 20

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Well maybe we actually have to do the division

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Synthetic division would be easiest.
