The value of C (12, 10) is?

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow C(n,r) = \large{n! \over (n -r)!r!} }\)

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow C(12,10) = {12! \over (12 -10)!10!} }\)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

another way of evaluating this is by noting that C(12,10) = C(12.2) and you write C(12,10) = 12*11 ---- 2*1 this follows from the rule quoted by ParthKohli

Parth (parthkohli):

^ Where is the LaTeX lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks guys!

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yea - i know - thanx for the tuition - i'll have to practice it - but i'm too tired now its late here in uk and i'm about to turn in

Parth (parthkohli):

lol xP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait, for cwrw's method I got 66. But for parth I got 66...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*132

Parth (parthkohli):

There's certainly a mistake you've done :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer is 66?

Parth (parthkohli):

The formula that I said leads to cwrw's statement. It's 66 in both. =))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh woops, I calculated yours wrong :/ Thanks for the clear up.

Parth (parthkohli):

Ah it's all good dw we all have our times :P
