If the general term of a sequence is 4, then the sequence is 4, 8, 12, 16, . . . 4, 16, 64, 216, . . . 4, 4, 4, 4, . . .
yo wtf does general term even furrowing mean
i honestly dont knowww
I live to serve O.O LOL The general term is how you can express the nth term of a sequence in terms of n Allow me to show an example 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.... The general term for \[a _{n}\] (that is to say, the nth term or the nth "a" in the sequence) is 2n As you can see, the 1st term is 2(1), the fourth term is 2(4), etc... Now if your general term is a constant, does that give you any ideas? :)
is it 4?? if it is i feel stupid
It's 4, 4, 4, 4..... The general term for the first sequence is 4n since the nth term is always 4 times n The general term for the second sequence is \[4^{n}\] since the nth term is always 4 raised to the nth power Hope that was helpful :)
scratch that, I have no idea what the general term is for the second sequence are you sure that's 216 and not 256? :)
yes i am sure
Well then, I have no idea what the general term for the second sequence is, but is sure isn't 4 :D
haha well thanks anyway :)
I'm pretty sure the answer is 4, 4, 4, 4... though :)
okay well i did that problem like 2 hours ago lol :)
