can someone help me with my problem please
12 +5 x-3 +x^(2)-5x+6
could you please write your problem out more clearly? or at least explain it?
12 - x-3 then beside that is +5 x^(2)-5x+6
\[\frac{12}{x-3}+\frac5{x^2-5x+6}\]????
that is correct
what do you want to do with this expression?
i need work shown if you can do it
perform the addition or subtraction indicated
can you factor\[x^2-5x+6\]?
no
find two numbers that add to -5 and multiply to 6
can you just show me step by step in trying to get my test done.
This is step-by-step If you are on a timed test you have to realize there is no obligation for us to hurry because of your personal situation many would probably argue that helping someone on an exam is wrong in the first place. You should come to study beforehand, not at the last moment
the first step is to factor the denominator on the right hand side the first step to doing that is to find two numbers that add to -5 and multiply to 6 that is the fastest way to your answer
if all of this is new to you then this is an example of why you should come to help before your timed exams
can you do the problem because i dont understand it
I can try to help you understand we need two numbers that multiply to give 6 and add to give -5 what numbers can multiply to 6 ?
1*6=6 but 1+6=7, and we wanted -5, so that's no good
I DONT UNDERSTAND THATS WHY I ASKED IF YOU CAN DO IT FOR ME
you are writing in all capital letters as I am explaining the process to you if you read instead of type you may be able to solve this problem :)
so we have ruled out one candidate for our two numbers: 6 and 1 does not work what other numbers multiply to give 6 ?
