How do you solve this by factor grouping... 24x^3+27x^2-8x-9

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

it wont be easy to do this one simply by factoring,,doesn't break up that easily..hmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually wait, that terms for A is too large...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8x(3x^2-1)+9(3x^2-1)

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

ohh..lol :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

= (3x^2-1)(8x+9) nd now its factorised

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks you guys, I really appreciate it. <3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(8 x+9) (3 x^2-1)\] The trick is to treat that X^2 as a special variable, on my scratch pad I made it into a ☼
