guyz i need gd book for mathmatics

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

what topic/level

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for advance level

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

i have know idea what you mean

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need a book very usful for me advance level

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course i need it's full name

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

can you be more specific

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need a book very usfull book for mathmatics advance level

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

oh

OpenStudy (precal):

what level undergraduate? graduate? high school? topic?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

graduate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry for misunderstanding

OpenStudy (precal):

ok topic in graduate math?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could start with Real Analysis by Royden. I think the fourth edition is current.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx animal

OpenStudy (precal):

well there really is not one good book for graduate math. Your undergrad work should build a solid foundation for your graduate level work, especially if you intend to pursue a PHD in mathematics

OpenStudy (precal):

good luck, been there, done that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx again guys

OpenStudy (precal):

anytime :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can try paul's notes online

OpenStudy (precal):

yes that is a great website

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Stewart Calculus - Early Transcendentals 6th

OpenStudy (precal):

@timo86m that is more for undergrad work, just my opinion

OpenStudy (precal):

Graduate level is more analysis and proofs and more proofs and more proofs, etc...........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Stewart Calculus - Early Transcendentals 6th covers cacl 1 to calc 3 that is limits, deriviatives, integrals, and multivariable calculus both integrals and integrals and limits.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx timo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh that is undergrad

OpenStudy (precal):

yes but cal 1 to cal 3 is undergrad work, that is a prerequisite to just studying a BS in mathematics. That is just basics in the world of mathematics.

OpenStudy (precal):

Just remember the smaller and thinner the math book the harder it is to understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is true :)

OpenStudy (precal):

yes, I learn that lesson that hard way...........
