use trigonometry cos 46 = 220 / AC AC = 220/COS 46 = 220 SEC 46 (as sec = 1/ cos)

You are correct. This is because sec(x) is 1/cos(x) So you're dealing with the adjacent and hypotenuse with sec(46) whereas the first one deals with the opposite side (which we don't have) and the hypotenuse
