which of the followig is an example of a scaler quantity? A. 100 m B. 100 km/hour south C. 100 miles forward D. 100 m/s east

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be option A. A scalar quantity is that quantity that has only magnitude and no direction. Options B, C and D specify directions as south, forward and east respectively. So these are vector quantities(quantities with magnitude as well as direction).
