In triangles ABC and DEF, AB=DE angle ABC=angle DEF BC=EF therefore, triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEF by Side-Angle-Side criteria. therefore, CA=FD ------------> congruent parts of congruent triangles 2x-3=x+1 2x-x=1+3 x=4
