Why do organisms that reproduce asexually reproduce in less time than those that reproduce sexually?

C: Asexual reproducers don’t have to spend time producing gametes, finding mates, satisfying their selection criteria, and then mating
Well, the definition of asexual is that offspring results from a single parent, thus A: is incorrect because it refers to finding a mate. B: could possibly be true (although I doubt its true in a broad sense), but C: seems to be the most complete and correct answer.
I agree. C seems to be the most correct out of the three.
