3(x+4) > 8x -6 -2x + 3 < -7 4< -4x -2(x-4) > 5 - (x+2) x-1 >5 x - 7 > -4 5x+1 > 11 - -3x + 4 < -x + 2 2x < 6 - -2x< 6

A) x < 18/5, open dot at 18/5 and shaded to the left B) x > 5, open dot at 5 and shaded to the right C) x< -1, open dot at -1 and shaded to the left D) x > 1, open dot at 1 and shaded to the right E) x > 2 closed dot at 2 and shaded to the right - F) x > 3, open dot at 3 and shaded to the right G) x<5, open dot at 5 and shaded to the left H) X < 3 , closed dot at 3 and shaded to the left - I) x > -3,open dot at -3 and shaded to the right J) x > 6, open dot at 6 and shaded to the right

first 3 look OK, but after that? -2(x-4) > 5 - (x+2) --> x>1 ? seems wrong

their right its matching

OH, it just occurred to me, so I came back to check. these are all the same level of difficulty. One way to stay out of trouble is always add terms to both sides (as opposed to dividing) so for example -3x + 4 < -x + 2 add +3x to both sides 4 < 2x +2 add -2 to both sides 2 < 2x now with a positive 2, it's ok to divide to get 1<x circle on +1, shaded to the right.
