You wish to use a long string of random digits to randomly assign one-half of a group of 200 students to a treatment group. You assign consecutive number labels to all the students, starting with zero. You then break the long string into chunks of digits. Should the chunks consist of single digits, pairs, triplets, or quadruplets? A. Quadruplets B. Pairs C. Single digits D. Triplets
@Valpey can you help please?
I think it's triplets, but not sure.
if you are counting 0 i would assume triplets as well because it would be a total 201 (chunks of 3 = 67)
thank you.

My first reaction was that triplets were sufficient, but I can't say I really get what the mechanism of the distinction of in/out of treatment group is. I don't see why you couldn't use single digits and say send odd number to the treatment group and the evens to the control group. But whatever.
Do you agree with triplets?
yea.. the problem is very weirdly worded but i still say triplets lol
okay
