how do i apply nodal on this question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need to assign the 2 nodes next to Va as V1 and V2?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Is there a resistor below Va?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, tats just the error checking line ==

OpenStudy (ash2326):

then he two nodes will have the same voltage Va on both the nodes

OpenStudy (ash2326):

*the

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so the sum flowing out = 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

out from Va*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i think i got it, its very close to my experimental value.

OpenStudy (ash2326):

It's easy, summing currents leaving from super node ( the branch with voltage Va) \[\frac{V_a-E_1}{R_1}+\frac{V_a-0}{R2}+\frac{V_a-0}{R3}+\frac{V_a-E2}{R4}=0\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ic. didnt realise its a super node in the 1st place. not being observant enough

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks alot =)

OpenStudy (ash2326):

you;re welcome;D
