(3 points) Part 2: Is this partial sum divergent or convergent in nature? Explain your answer. (2 points) HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last Question PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
\[\sum_{i = 1}^{5} 3(0.1)^{i-1}\]
For those people who are later on search this on Google. Here is the answer: PART 1: First you have to substitute every number in between 1 and 5 including 1 and 5 for i. Then you add them together and you get your solution. Solution: 3.3333 PART 2: It is convergent in nature because the absolute value of the common ratio is less than one. In this case absolute value of 0.1 is 0.1 which is less than zero.
