Write a real-world situation of your own and a VARIABLE expression to go with it.
@AccessDenied @AnwarA @A.Avinash_Goutham @Australopithecus Please help??
just be creative, it is very simple to come up with a variable expression.
make a scenario where you are trying to solve for something
or just use a search engine to find one
mmmm...ok ill try
hell you could write bob bought 5 apples there are a total of 20 apples how many apples did mike buy
it is supposed to be an algebraic expression! The example they put is this one : Write an expression for the following real-world situation. If Mr. Jackson earns $1000 for every used car he sells and $2000 for every new car he sells, how much would he make if he sold "u" used cars and "n" new cars?
and the variable expression would be 1000u + 2000n
understand? :)
that is an algebraic expression, and real world
Thats what i need to do
the example I gave you is just very simplistic but it still involves algebra
oh ok
just use a painting example, how much paint do you need
if a certain amount covers a wall and you have 4 walls
something like that will be a little more like what you are looking for
ok :) thanks
how many variables do you require? the example that Mr. Australopithecus gave has 1, the one that Ms. Gabylovesyou has 2.... they're both algebraic expressions...
*variable, variables
the question is stated and a VARIABLE expression
it doesn't specify
its a variable expression so it should have more than one right?
cuz u dont say variables expression
i guess lol
a variable expression contains at least 1 variable...
no you would say an expression with more than 1 variable
The example it gave me has 2 variables so do i do an expression with 2?
the example you gave is a variable expression in 2 variables... the example with the aples is a variable expression in 1 variable...
Another example the lesson has is this one:Mrs. Ming earns $35.00 per hour at her job as a computer programmer. What expression represents the amount of money Mrs. Ming earns after x number of hours?
I have to make a variable expression like those ^^^^
if you want a 2 variable expression just use something like the amount of a chemical A is proportional to five times the concentration of a chemical B ,what is the concentration of chemical B when there are 2L of chemical A
there is your answer enjoy
and what would be the variable expression?? :)
variables would be A and B
ok... that one looks like 1 variable: x - for number of hours worked... the variable expression for the money she makes would be: 35x
where B changes in respect to A so B would be y and A would be x
@dpaInc thats what i need a situation where the variable expression is like that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ lol
@Australopithecus ok !!
i thought this is the type of algebraic expression you meant: |dw:1342201121219:dw|
