I don't like admitting this, but I have watched the video lectures 2 and 3 a couple of times. Ps0 was easy. Ps1a is a different story. I do not understand how to start writing the code for ps1a. I looked at code examples that others have posted and I could copy the code and call it good but I do not understand what is happening in each line of code. I don't feel comfortable moving onto ps2. Maybe there is a course, in python, that is geared for, I hate to say this, dummies. That is how I feel right now.

Hey there. Keep in mind that you are largely working alone. In contrast, there is a lot of collaboration among the students who actually take these courses at the university. Also, notice that when the lecturers ask questions there usually are very few in the audience who are raising their hands. It's tough for them, too. So, this is a challenging situation we are all in. We don't have the luxury of dropping in during office hours, etc. I recommend that for each program that you write, first write a step-by-step narrative of what you want the program to do. That will solidify in your mind what the problem is. Maybe that will help you get started. For the calculus problems I could do very little because I never studied it. Hang in there!
