Plz Help Me Out :- Give a detailed explaination of 'Frame of reference' used in physics .
detailed?? its is used to observe motion of one thing wrt oher thing both of them moving in different frmaes or dimensions :P
it's like a comfy seat to watch a movie.....no specific definition
Frame of reference is the place ,with respect to what you observe an object, like 2 trains moving in opposite directions would be an effect while being a passenger waiting at station will be the other effect,so two different frame of references! hope u get it
Frame of reference can be seen as different points of view of the observer, depending on his location. say for example, we're observing a merry-go-round. now a person on the ground, away from the ride, will observe the motion in one way. whereas the person riding on it, will observe the motion in another way. both ways, the motion is actually the same, just viewed from different point of views.
or a better example would be: 2 cars moving in the same direction, with the same speed. now, if u're sitting in one of those cars, and observe the other one, u'll say that the speed of that other car is 0. but if u observe that same car as a by stander, u'll say that it is moving with some velocity. make sense?
u just gave my example :P @Vaidehi09 haha
its a lil' different...and i'm trying to point out how the observation of the SAME motion changed, just by changing the position of the observer, which is nothing but the 'frame of reference'. @goformit100 do u get it now?
yes i got it
Thankyou @DLS and @Vaidehi09
happy to help :)
anytime :)
