I need help on part d). See below for attempted solution. Figure:https://dl.dropbox.com/u/63664351/Transformer.PNG For the transformer shown find: a) \( V_p \) b) \( V_s \) c) \( Z_S \ \ \text{in form of} \ \ a+bj \) d) \( Z_S \ \ \text{in form of} \ \ c∠∅ \) e) \( I_s \) f) Power lost in the load
a) \( V_p \) = 240 V b) \( V_s \) = 30 V c) \( Z_S = 50+j(2 \pi*50*200*10^-3)=50+j(62.83) \) d) This part is basically asking me to convert imaginary form \( 50+j(62.83) \) to polar form? c∠∅. tag: @ujjwal @Vaidehi09 @Vincent-Lyon.Fr
Extra: In which subsection does this problem fall into? You may chose only one. Note that you won't be given mark if you chose none but penalty may be given if the wrong answer is chosen. a) Electric Fields b) Current of Electricity c) D.C. Circuits d) Electromagnetism e) Electromagnetism Induction f) Alternating Current This is transformer. What do you think?
electromagnetism induction transformer undergoes induction process just to ad up your knowledge if transformer have more no. of coils in primary coil then it is step down transformer and if secondary coil has more number of coils then it is called step up transformer.
This person may help @apoorvk :) He is offline now but he will come online in some time :)
