A circle has its center at (-2, 5) and a radius of 4 units. What is the equation of the circle? (x + 2)2 + (y - 5)2 = 16 (x + 2)2+ (y + 5)2= 16 (x + 2)2+(y - 5)2 = 4 (x - 2)2+(y + 5)2 = 4

Someone please help! Please?

I am guessing it's the third answer that I provided, but I am second-guessing myself. Am I right, in the first place? Or am I right to second guess myself?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the general form of a circle is \[(x -h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2\] (h, k) is the centre and r is the radius in your question you have a centre (-2, 5) and r = 4 substitute to find your equation
