\[\mathcal L^{-1} \left\lbrace \frac{3s+1}{s^2 + 6s + 13} \right\rbrace\] i got \[e^{-3t}(3\cos 2t - 4\sin 2t)\] can anyone check?
lol .. use the same trick make partial fractions ... and plug it into WA
wolfram gave some weird answers...
make partial fractions first
then?
ask for inverse laplace transfrom individually ... WA is clever ... always interprets the input in such a way that it would take least running time
my suggestion ... also provide the expression in text as well as latex. so that it's easy to copy paste!
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=Laplace+inverse+%283s%2B1%29%2F%28s^2%2B6s%2B13%29 looks like it has imaginary values
that's why i said i was weird
it doesn't have partial fractions ... try to factorize the denominator ... you might get imaginary values.
i just did \[\frac{3s+1}{(s+3)^2 + 2^2}\]
Hmm ...|dw:1344083615186:dw|
