surface area of a cube is 6*(length)^2 because a cube has 6 faces and the area of each face is the length of a side squared this can be written as Area(L) = 6*L^2 where L is length so the 2 lengths given were 2 and 10 so just substitute

since a cube has 6 sides, the surface area is the area of one side times 6 since its a cube, all sides are squares and all lengths are equal the area of a cube is side squared so squarearea(L)= L^2 cube area(L)= squarearea*6 so cube area (L) = 6*L^2 L is 2 and 10 so just substitute those
