Suppose you are playing a game with two number cubes. Let A represent rolling 2, 3, or 4, and B represent rolling 1, 5, or 6. The probability of A is 1over2 and the probability of B is1over2 . What is the probability that one number cube shows 2, 3, or 4, and the other shows 1, 5, or 6?

The cube has 6 sides, 3 of which are 2,3 or 4 (A) So P(A) = 1/2 The answer to the last question depends on whether the number cubes are distinguishable. Suppose one is blue and the other is red.. if the red one shows 2,3 or 4 and the blue one shows 1,5 or 6 is that the "same" as the blue one shows 2,3 or 4 and the red one shows 1,5 or 6
