Carbon 14 is a radioactive form of carbon found in all living plants and animals. After a plant or animal dies, C-14 disintegrates. Scientists determine the age of the remains by comparing its C-14 with the amount found in living plants and animals. If the half-life of C-14 is approximately 2800yrs, how much of C-14 is present in a sample of charcoal after 1750 years?
